High Speed Car Ramp: It is necessary to be in charge to the cars to fly

This is the exposition that two Portuguese architects did by means of the mailing of his project for the contest of a bridge for the “Second folleto letter” of Lisbon, Portugal.
Jorge Pereira and Tiago Barros broke all the schemes sending “High Speed Car Ramp“, a project that in the reality is very little probable that it is construído, but they gained the recognition of the jury, by means of an benemérito mention that emphasizes the cardinal concept of his project: The cities must be thought first for pedestrians and cyclists and the cars must be adapted to this design later.
The bridge project consists of a ramp that will allow the cars to "fly" to happen on the routes of pedestrians and cyclists. All the calculations done for the project are vivo. It is believed that the cars must take the ramp to some 120kms. per hour to be able to jump to another side. Since everything is thought, in the very probable case of which beech blocks, there will be semaphores to 500mts of the jump, so that the cars manage to reach the necessary speed to cross.
Finally this design bets to generate attraction to the city, transforming in a tourist focus for tourists, which will place themselves in parks to the surroundings of this ramp and this way to see the spectacle of hundreds of cars demolishing every minute.
I celebrate the irony used by this pair of architects, who "sacrificed" to gain the biggest award to the advantage of designer of urban environments to send a powerful message to the community. The persons first, later the machines.
